  To make matters worse, the staff was very rude, lazy, and unhelpful. And when I say rude, I mean it. Everyone can have a bad day once, but we stayed more than one night (although I regret this decision in hindsight) and so I know it had nothing to do with a “bad day”… When we arrived, there was no toilet paper in the room, which is not really a big deal at all, but when my boyfriend went down to ask for some, the staff handed him one roll without actually interrupting what he was doing, to “serve” their customer!

  It's ok if you want somewhere cheap to stay.. Room, bed and bathroom and that's it.

  The first room we got (more to this in a second), looked really beat up. There was a big blanket of mold on the bathroom ceiling (see enclosed picture), there were holes in the walls, the room looked dirty, and smelled funny.

  The new room was a big step up, to be honest. It almost felt as if we were in a different hotel. The room was clean, no mold, much fewer holes in the walls, and the like. That one, might pass for 3 stars, if you aren’t too picky.

  3rd time staying here. Value for money, especially if you book via the world wide web, price is cheaper. Clean, polite staff and located centrally.

  There’s one positive thing that I’d like to inform you about (because, again, the staff won’t mention it), just in case you do decide to stay at this hotel: You can get a discount for the park garage, but you actually need to get something issued from the hotel. We learned this from the super friendly staff at the park garage, who decided to look the other way about the missing token and give us the discount anyway.

  But it didn’t stop there. We also didn’t have warm water. The first night, we heard the excuse that there was a problem with the heater, and it was “supposed to be fixed over night” according to the staff. I can forgive that, it happens! BUT first of all, it’s just common courtesy to inform your guests about these kind of issues when they check in rather than leaving it up to them to find out and approach you about the issue! Secondly, the next morning there was still no hot water. When we followed up, the morning staff said that it should have been fixed and pretended that he didn’t know that there was an issue with our suite! He promised to send someone to have a look. Back we come at night to, you guessed it, cold water. The rude evening staff, once again, played the issue down, rather than trying to help. The next morning, when we got to the front desk to see what was going on, the staff tried dismissing the issue yet again. Because we insisted on an actual solution this time around, he offered a new room (why not do this the first time a customer complains, I wonder?). So, he gets on the phone and here I stand listening to the conversation (too bad for them that I actually speak Spanish) and hear how he asks the person on the other end which part of the building it is again that has warm water. This made me realize that this issues WAS known to them all the while and could have been fixed the first time around IF the staff had taken the time to make that phone call the moment they heard about the “heater problem”. WOW.

  Cold and humid room, heating doesn't really work, the heating/AC is horribly noisy, the pillow is horrible, blankets instead of duvet, the shower doesn't go beyond slightly lukewarm, one has to sit sideways on the toilet as there is a wall in front of it. Other than that it's cheap, the staff is friendly and the location is central.

  The hotel is dated however the room was big and clean. On arrival we found the pillows flat and uncomfortable but that was quickly put right when we asked reception for extra pillows. A couple of times there was a problem with the hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a great location. It is a good place to stay if you just want somewhere to sleep and shower. We would return.
